جان هنری هلند ( به انگلیسی: John Henry Holland ) ( متولد ۲ فوریه سال ۱۹۲۹ - درگذشت ۹ اوت ۲۰۱۵ ) دانشمند آمریکایی، استاد روانشناسی، استاد مهندسی برق و علوم کامپیوتر در دانشگاه میشیگان بود. او پیشرو در سیستم های پیچیده و علوم غیر خطی بود. او همچنین به عنوان پدر الگوریتم ژنتیک شناخته می شود. او در سال ۱۹۶۱ مدال لوییس. ای لوی را از مؤسسه فرانکلین دریافت کرد.
