زندگی [ویرایش]
دریا دادور دختر «نسرین ارمگان» از یک خانوادهٔ شمالی ( گیلانی ) در سال ۱۳۵۰ هجری شمسی در شهر مشهد به دنیا آمد. [۱][۲] اما در تهران رشد یافته است. «دریا» از سال ۱۹۹۱ میلای ( ۱۳۷۰ هجری شمسی ) در فرانسه زندگی می کند.

تحصیلات [ویرایش]
دریا دادور تحصیلاتش را در زمینه موسیقی در سال ۲۰۰۰ در شهر تولوز فرانسه به پایان رسانید. [۳]
سبک هنری [ویرایش]
دریا دادور ترانه ها و سبک های ایرانی را با اپرا و شیوه های غربی تلفیق کرده و سبک مخصوص به خودش را بوجود آورده است. [۴]
دریا دادور به زبان های فارسی، فرانسوی و انگلیسی مسلط بوده و آهنگ های محلی را با بسیاری از زبان ها و لهجه های مرسوم در ایران می خواند.

در سال ۲۰۰۳ دریا دادور در اپرای رستم و سهراب که به رهبری لوریس چکنواریان برگزار شد در نقش تهمینه به اجرای اپرا پرداخت.
در سال ۱۹۹۹ از کنسرواتوآر ملی تولوز فرانسه، موفق به دریافت مدال طلا در رشتة آواز لیریک می شود و سپس در سال۲۰۰۰ دیپلم حرفه ای اش را در رشتهٔ آواز باروک اخذ می نماید.

Darya is a native of Rasht but grew up in Tehran. In 1991 she left Iran for France where she studied music. She is a graduate of The National Conservatory in Toulouse, France. She obtained her Diplome d'Etude Musical in voice in June 1999 and subsequently completed a four - year professional course in the Baroque style at the Conservatory of Toulouse in 2000. Darya further holds a postgraduate Master of Arts degree from School of Fine Arts of Toulouse ( Ecole des Beaux - Arts de Toulouse ) .

Darya has given concert performances in Canada, France, Germany, Iran, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States of America. In 2002, Darya was a guest performer in Tehran with the Armenian Symphony Orchestra in the role of Tahmineh, in a work composed and directed by Loris Tjeknavorian based on the tragedy of Rostam and Sohrab, one of the most fascinating tales of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh ( The Book of Kings ) . As well as in English, French, German, Italian and Persian, Darya sings in different native languages of Iran, such as Armenian, Azeri, Gilaki, Kurdish and Mazandarani.

^ Daryā ( دریا ) ( Old Persian: Drayah, Middle Persian: Drayā, Sanskrit: Jrayaḥ ) [1] is the Persian word for Sea, or Ocean ( similar to the sea ) , and Dādvar ( دادور ) , a combination of Dād ( داد ) , Justice, and var ( ور ) , a suffix indicative of one's profession or vocation, for Jurist or Chief Justice ( in general, someone whose main business is judicial administration of law and equity ) . For comparison, Dāneshvar, a combination of Dānesh, Knowledge, Science, and var, is the Persian word for Scientist. The word Dādvar is archaic, if not obsolete, and it is conceivable that the contemporary word Dāvar ( داور ) , Arbiter, Arbitrator, Judge, or sports referee may be Dādvar itself, abbreviated through its frequent use over perhaps millennia, or is a direct descendant of it. The "v" in Dādvar should be pronounced as "w" and the "a" as "aa".
